On December 14, 2016, I received a text from Benny Higgins stating I was entitled to an unclaimed inheritance and to get a hold of Benny by email. I emailed Benny and waited to see if he would respond. He responded by email a big, long letter. The letter stated that my late-husband’s family were very wealthy and I had inherited 25 million dollars from my late husband’s family. I was to split the money with Benny Higgins. At the bottom of the letter it stated please do not take any action as I have a wife and three children. This prompted me to check into this. I checked the bank out on the internet and found Benny Higgins was the CEO for eight years. Mr. Higgins stated he had put the inherited money in stocks and bonds. I received a follow-up letter requesting all personal information to finish the form.
