Type of a scam Online Purchase
"Tekk Smith" is the scammer I am referring too. This business/person is listed on Facebook Marketplace. He/she is pretending to be a computer salesperson. Basically what happened was I pinged the seller through FB Marketplace on 4/14/2020 and was told that they did shipping to anywhere. The seller sold me a laptop for $300 + another $14 for expedited shipping. I cashapped the payment for $314 on 4/15/2020 and was told the laptop would be sent to me as soon as the payment cleared. They provided the phone number 1-501-313-1722 but I never spoke with anyone over the phone; I have several text messages that the Tekk Smith representative sent me. The Tekk Smith individual also messaged me several times through FB messenger. Today’s date is 5/20/2020 and Tekk Smith still has not sent me the laptop I purchased but it is still listed on FB MarketPlace for sale for the same price of $300. I just do not want this to happen to another person because it is not right. I waited and waited and waited based on the lies Tekk Smith kept feeding me through messenger and text message.
