These people called, and said they were under contract from microsoft, and after reviewing my system, said that they needed to remove a bunch of virus in my computer system, as my security system was out of date. they would fix all the problems electronically, but afterwards i needed to go to walmart, or walgreens pharmacy and give them the no. of a pre- purchased card for 300.00. I said no way, and the became increasingly irate. I told them that they were a bunch of scam artists and spoofing cons. then for the next week I would get calls for places from at least 5 different states, with the same guy.after this, they shut down all the icons, and the curser on my laptop. they called again and said that they could fix everything but it would only cost 250.00 this time. told them to GET LOST.
