My friend had a contract on her computer… for safety against phishing etc in 2016, she wasn’t satisfied with the services, and cancelled it on her computer.
Now they said they owe her some money for the cancellation, but they needed her bank acct # and her SS#. She didn’t give it out. Next hour, they turned her computer off completely. She called the ph # I wrote down in your information section, they said yes, they turned off her computer.
She is an older lady.
She needs serious help.
What can she do?
