My elderly neighbor was called by "Alex Jordan" ID# 23105 from this company on 9-19-17, Alex said my neighbor’s Windows Operating System was about to expire and to keep his computer running he needed to buy a new license, I happened to stop by just as my neighbor was about to give him his bank routing/account #, this new license was going to cost $449.00. This Alex guy had control of my neighbors computer and I could see him scrolling through his emails, he got irate at me when I questioned his actions, he said not all of the "download" was done and I could not stop as my neighbor had not paid him for the work being done- I ended the call. The computer was still on and suddenly the camera activated (I could see my image) and then a very loud TICK-TICK-TICK sounded for about 10 seconds followed by an explosion sound. I powered down the computer, I have a feeling it he may have installed either ransomeware or damaged the computer somehow. I have called the 844-567-5237 phone number and they do ID themselves as the Tech Help Line.
