Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
On May 13, 2016 I recd a ltr from TD Spar Corp. stating I won $890,000 and was sent a check for $7,985.28; bank from Toronto Dominion Bank, Montreal, Canada. I was instructed to deposit the check in my acct; then I should send them $1200 but I was not informed how to send the money. I was given a number 226-929-8820 to call and I spoke to man. I knew it was a scam.
