I ordered a product online. The vendor stated it would be sent by USPS. Then swift cargo line called me to confirm the delivery. They wanted a photo copy of my drivers license front and back. Following this they wanted me to pay them $375 through a non regulated app Cash app as insurance for my package. They told me they would not deliver the package without the refundable $375 due to covid protocols and discreet packaging. They also told me I needed to pay $163 for each stamp and the package needed 3 stamps. The company tried to get me to send them a total of $864 just to receive something I already purchased. They continuously texted me demanding the money and harassing me. This is obviously a scam since I do not believe the U.S. has refundable stamps for certain packages being mailed. Once I asked the merchant for a refund they told me to calm down and started using a lot of the same phrases being used by the Swift Cargo Line.
