Type of a scam Online Purchase
I had been referred to a breeder for bullmastiff puppies. The breeder’s website was named swan brook. I went on line and searched swan brook puppies. It pulled up a swanbrookmastinos.com website. I ordered a puppy and sent money to the breeder. In exchange I got an official contract, pictures, information on the parents, dog food used, return policy, temperament, shot information, really all of my questions were answered. It was exactly what you would expect from a true breeder. The dog never arrived and I did not get my money back. The real breeder is swanbrookbullmastiffs.webs.com. If I would have searched with a few more key words, I would’ve found the real breeder. This company used the real breeders name and client information to lure customers to the wrong website. The scammers even used the real breeders recommendations on puppy care, his policies and knowledge as their own. Looking back the only thing that felt wrong was that the breeder used text messages until the final day. The first phone call was when I knew it was a scam.
