A person who did not offer their name said they had an interest in a vehicle I am advertising for "salvage only," to be "hauled away" on Craigslist. Yet they wanted me to purchase a VIN # report first from her website. This individual has the phone number 941-217-3628. The phone number appears to correspond to a 53 year old person living in Port Charlotte, FL who lives in a $200,000 home and earns about $63,000 annually. This person texted and asked for me to send a VIN car report from a SPECIFIC website http://supremevinnchecks.com. This is a known ScamPulse.com VIN scam. The person asked me to send it to [email protected] This alleged VIN report website does not seem to exist, nor does her alleged email as she sent it to me.

Buyer of car said they’d only see it if I verified the car history on supremevinnchecks.com. I knew something felt off and turns out this is a new scam. They scammer also offered up platinumvins.com.
