Type of a scam Tech Support

I called the number I found online for Apple Support and a friendly person named Benjamin with an Indian accent offered to help. He asked me to log into my home desktop or laptop so he could get online access to my device to help me with my cell phone problem. I got suspicious when he got pushy and unclear. Then he started mentioned a $50 fee to help switch one phone from AT&T to Verizon and that we needed to access my Itunes account. I told him I was uncomfortable with it and then clicked out of the software he used to navigate my computer and shut the computer down. I got off the phone with him quickly afterwards as his kindness made room for rude comments. Later I called the number back and his name had changed to Travis. I asked him where he was located and he said Virginia, then later it was Pakistan and he admitted to being a scammer. I continued to confront him for running a dishonest business, but he said stupid people deserved to be scammed. He said there are 20 phone lines they use to scam people and me continuing to call him only slowed them down a hair, but didn’t make an impact. These crooks need to be stopped!
