Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was asked in a e-mail if I had wanted to take a survey, I complied and at the end of the survey was told I was eligible for a free gift and I chose a small flashlight. It was indicated I would have to pay for the shipping and handling. I was charged $5.95 on my credit card for the shipping and did receive the small flashlight. I was fraud alerted by CapitalOne that my credit card was being charged $54.95 with the product description ‘Diets of Gold’. They gave me the merchant number to call 844-938-0729 which is a 3rd party call center and would not give me their company’s name. I asked and they told me the merchants name was Super Digideal (no such name when I googled it) along with their address (3291 W. Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL, 153201-1209, zip 33684. so I could return the flash light that again I was told would be free as long as I paid for the shipping to return it and they in turn would stop request for payment. I believe I have been the victim of a fraudulent scam service.
