Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I was contacted by "The Student Loan Project" to have my student loans forgiven. They assured me that if i gave them $1000 and made a payment of $40 per month, that they would sign me up for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. I was under the impression that i was enrolled in this program, however i started to recieve correspondence from my loan servicer requesting payment. They did not do what they promised and now I am unable to reach them by phone and their website is now gone "studentloanproject.us". I have attached the contact information that was sent to me, through corresponding with their program.
