I have been receiving weekly calls for the past several months from companies claiming they are offering debt relief/consolidation for my federal student loan. However I paid off all of my student loans last year. When I tell whomever is calling me that it’s a scam they immediately hang up. I block the # and then a few days later they call again from another #.

When they call I answer the phone, if I don’t answer their questions the right way, the call disconnects. When I ask for a supervisor, the call also disconnects.

This telemarketer calls me 6 to 12 times a DAY. I’ve called back repeatedly, asking to be taken off their list, as i HAVE NO STUDENT DEBT, but the very next day even, i still am getting the same amount of calls.
I’ve called and tried to speak with actual people to get my number removed, and they always claim to have removed it, yet i still get calls all day.
My phone is used for business, i take conference calls and long distance calls across the globe, and I’m constantly being interrupted by these scammers!
I’m in a very stressful place in my life right now, but to add to that the HARASSMENT by these people, and you have a recipe for a PSYCHOTIC BREAK. THEY EVEN LAUGH AT ME ON THE PHONE. THIS, COUPLED WITH MY CURRENT SITUATION IN LIFE IS ENOUGH STRESS AND PRESSURE TO CAUSE MENTAL ISSUES.
THESE PEOPLE NEED TO STOP HARASSING ME AND OTHERS, PERIOD.
