We had a message on our telephone machine from earlier today: ‘Hi this is Barbara Davis and I’m calling about changes that will be happening soon with your student loan. My number is 866-253-8228 and to make things easier be sure to mention this reference number #011105"
I checked online and found this number has been reported as fraud/scam by several people so far today.
Lady sounds legit, like someone’s mother. She’s NOT.
