Type of a scam Employment
Was contacted via email about a remote Customer Service position with Stryker.com. I initially asked about the mis-matched email domains, but was assured that’s how they do it – ? Also, now that I’ve reviewed all of the emails, the addresses ‘[email protected]‘ & ‘[email protected]‘ were also used.
Was referred to Ms. Lauren Bodamer who, after failing twice to send me the $500-$800 they advised I’d need in order to start my training, pushed me VERY hard to pay for it myself, promising I’d be reimbursed as soon as the check they sent me arrived.
I got suspicious; looked them up found an employment scam warning on the actual Stryker web-site about this; that notice was not there approx. 2 weeks ago when I first looked at it.
