Type of a scam Online Purchase
in january while on facebook my screen was taken over several times by ad for waterproof boots for striveeasy and a discount coupon if purchase that day – when I clicked on the link I placed order for 2 pair of boots, one in black and one in burgundy and entered payment info. I did not receive option to enter the coupon code offered so I wrote a message to them on fb. they assured a credit would be put thru. Today I am still waiting to receive the black boots. I only received the maroon ones a week ago- this is 2 months after placing the order. Already paid the bill in full because credit card said I would be charged service fees if not paid. In addition, this company charged a 2.45 cents fee for unknown without my acknowledgment. The phone listed on fb is not in service. They do not return fb messages. Have emailed them for over a month and tried phoning using the number on website but no one returns calls- have requested item status or refund. HAVE not heard back to date. 2 months after placing the order.
