Claimed that a neighbor had cancelled an order for meat unexpectedly and was willing to sell product at a reduced rate. Targeted elderly resident. Asked for check to be made out directly to him (Stan Johnson) in the amount of $195.00.
Check was cashed immediately. Product was not what he represented nor was it affiliated with Stockyards.com. as verified by contacting the vendor. Scammer provided phone number 352-431-6760.
