Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Had a product up on a selling app called offer up. The scammer wanted to buy the product and have me send it to him through the mail. He ended up sending me a check to cover the cost of the item and of shipping it. The check was a little over $1,000 more then what was needed. After contacting him about receiving the check he already knew he had sent too much and he wanted me to send the difference back to him. That seemed odd to me so I decided to report it.
