I received this email and I think that this is a scam:

I am doing this not to gain fame and as a matter of fact,I have decided to put this away from the media. My family and I have decided to donate $1,000,000.00 USD to you and your family.The sole purpose of doing this was as a result of a long talk with my daughter who said to me ”Dad how come we are far from Northern California,California celebrating my Birthday in UK with so much money to be spent when there are families out there who still survive on pay check and some nothing” I knew exactly what she was talking about, because i have thought of it too and sacrosanctly believed I have spent almost all my life in California and i had a lot of financial difficulties in 2001 and when that came out from her i knew exactly what she meant.

And i think donating this to you is not a mistake, because putting a smile in a sad face is a good thing and i might not have been a good Christian, but i have always believed in miracles and my Powerball winning was a miracle. I may not know you, but i believe if you were chosen by God to receive my donation of 770,576.92 GBP Equivalent to 1,000,000.00 USD.
