Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was on free.ca and was offered eye,night and day cream for just the cost of shipping and handling. I received my package used once and wasn’t satisfied but wasn’t going to return it because it was so cheap. I was really just expecting samples, to be honest . 16 days after receiving the product 180$ was taken from my account. When I called they told me I had agreed to this price . I definitely did not. They then told me they do not take back any open products and there was nothing I could do . After arguing they told me I would receive 80$ maximum back. I was so angry I had to hang up and I called back again. This time I was informed I could receive 110$ back maximum . I called back again and tried speaking to a supervisor. 110$ was all I would get. They then sent me a threatening letter bullying me into accepting their terms or I would get nothing. I’m now in the process of still trying to get my 110$ but everytime there is some problem. The company name is stemacell and is false advertising in free.ca it’s most definitely not free, and I’ve had nothing but jumping through hoops to receive my maximum refund of 110$ (when my first call told me the maximum was 80$). It’s a scam and makes me sick these companies are allowed to exist .
