Type of a scam Online Purchase

While on Facebook, an advertisement for a pair of sneakers came up in my feed.

I ordered the sneakers via the advertisement, and received a confirmation email on the purchase and a tracking number.

The order was said to be delivered in 8-10 days but after about 3 weeks, I checked online to track the shipment.

Their online tracking said the shipment was coming from Hong Kong and would be arriving in another 8-10 days.

“Please be patient and don’t worry…you’re order is on the way!”

After two months with inquiries to the retailer, still no product was delivered, nor do I believe any items were actually shipped.

The constant delays from the company inquiries only tell me that the online clothing brand is a scam and nothing is being delivered.

I believe the emails saying “it’s been shipped, please don’t worry” are just a way to drive a distance between you and your money.

I’ve only found out through reviews that the return address for StayVibey clothing is in New Zealand, which is why I am writing to you.

Hopefully you can protect others by raising a red flag with this company, if in fact, they are even located in New Zealand.

Stay Vibey was the name the company when I ordered my items.

They have since changed their website name to TRVFFLE…I’m guessing to mask the terrible, scam reviews that Stay Vibey is now getting online.

I have contacted CITI bank, who I used to purchase the items, and let them know this is a fraudulent purchase.

so, it cost me $67 to return items to this company.

they do mention that customer is responsible to pay for returns, BUT they do NOT say that it will be in NEW ZEALAND!

just want to say – i think it would be the honorable thing to do to make it VERY clear on their website that if returns are to be made they will be shipping to New Zealand. It is clear that customer has to pay for it, but we all assume that it’s going to be like 10-$20 to ship it, NOT International shipping!!!

Gotta say I’m surprised there are not more complaints. Do the right thing. make this more clear.

It also took over 6 weeks to receive ordered items.
