Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
We applied for an online loan and this company contacted us. We were supposedly approved for a $10,000 loan and signed the appropriate loan agreements. Now they have my husbands SS# and banking information They deposited a bogus instrument into our banking account, expecting us to pay it back in the form of a *** gift card. The deposit was in the form of a *** check. Now the company wants a payment for insurance in order to guarantee the loan. Never, ever accept anything, whether it is phone calls or emails from this company.
