First off ive never bought a puppy before and i thought i did my research but turned out to be too good to be trueThe scammer claims to sell teacup maltese puppies with health certificate, vaccine records, food, travel supplies and etc. I inquired about getting one on 06/08/20 and i was told that it was $600 total for the pup and that i would recieve a bill of sale(which i did) and that i would receive the pup either the same day or next day depending on the number of stops. They emailed me back and forth everyday and stayed in contact with me the whole process. On 06/13/20 after i had went through all the necessary steps and things to ask. I made the $500 through zelle (3rd party app like cashapp) first off the "husband" sent me his info but it didnt go through so i stated to him the issue and he sent me his wifes info. Her name or info never popped up on zelle either so i told him that neither one is working so he proceeds to tell me its not us but your email thats not working and i told him no that wasnt the case so then he reassures me that he and his wife are good, honest, Christian family with 4 kids and only want to make sure the pups get a good and loving home with caring and compassionate owners. So then he sends me another email to try and it goes through. Now at this moment they tell me they received it and said they would send the bill of sale that evening. I didnt recieve the bill of sale til about 7 or 8 am on 06/14/20 and has 3 people including my boyfriend who has bought a dog before to take a look to make sure it was legit and everything added up. the next day(06/15) i received an email with the bill of sale that stated that i needed to cashapp the rest of the money so she could be shipped today. At that instance i thought to myself and even asked them why would i send the cash through cash app? Had i known that you had cashapp i would have sent it all once( yes i stated this) they replied back ohh! Sorry we didnt know. Sorry about that. Now im getting a bit nervous at this point but yet i was trying to be patient. The hrs go by and i hadnt heard from anyone since 11 am. So i called their number 5 to 6 times no answer. I emailed no answer. Then i called again and the line was busy. So after i called the last time they proceed to tell me that "Hi! We registered the baby in the morning. The shippers said an email was sent with details of delivery. Very that and let us know asap okay.." I email them stating that i havemt received anything and what was the name of the company. They email me back telling me to check my spam. Im like huh? So i did check my spam and it was under the name [email protected] and when i searched it did look like a legit company. So i proceed to put in my tracking number and when the details came up everything was shaded gray like it hadnt been processed so then I email the company to get an updated and they replied back to me not even 5 mins saying they needed $854 for a climate controlled carrier due to it not being a good day to travel with pup due to COVID-19. Then i received a text message when i didnt reply with the $854 stating;
DEAR RECIPIENT, ACCEPT WARM GREETINGS FROM THE GENERAL STAFF OF ECO LOGISTICS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORTATION AND HOME DELIVERY OF YOUR FEMALE TEACUP MALTESE PUPPY. AN EMAIL HAS JUST BEEN SENT TO YOU REGARDING THE ISSUES FACED BY OUR CARRY ON FLIGHT AGENTS.
