Type of a scam Identity Theft
The scammer knew my first name and called from a number that does belong to St. Francis. She said she need to talk to me concerning a business matter. She then started asking me personal information to verify my acct. I immediately knew something was wrong, as I have moved from Monroe area a few years ago and have not been a patient there in several years, my number has changed, and I have a zero balance there! I told her I would call the business office myself and she offered to help me with the number. I then called the hosp and they said the didn’t call me! I don’t know her intentions were, identity theft or to collect money. I have had 3 more people on Facebook that the same thing has happened to them!
