Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
I got a call from police stating I failed to appear at court as an expert witness on a case. 2 warrants out for my arrest. Must stay on phone while I load prepaid cards with $6050 and give him card numbers or be arrested on criminal charges. The number on caller ID matched the police department. During the call I used a separate phone to call that police department to confirm the scam. Of course, he then hung up.
