I had a guy(Luke Smith) show up in my driveway and he said they were doing a job nearby and had some leftover material.
The driveway repair was hot tar and chip. He didn’t know how far the material would go but he told me the price was usually $4 a square foot and he would do it for $1.60. I signed the contract with blanks that were filled in after the job was completed. He demanded immediate payment and I was so shocked at the price that I didn’t even check to see if they had cleaned up their mess. They left large road base in my grass and they also ripped up 200 feet of my gravel driveway that wasn’t supposed to be done. I found out later that they scammed the people nearby that they had done work for before me for a lot more money.
