Type of a scam Online Purchase
I posted my car on the Charlotte Craigslist to sell. I had someone named Oswald Roehrig reach out to me as a supposed interested buyer. After a little conversation via Craigslist email he asked that I pay to have the VIN history report done and send him results. He sent me the link to which I would input my VIN and credit card information. I didn’t input my credit card information due to fear this was a scam. I researched a bit online and ScamPulse.com says this is a fairly new scam.
