snail mail listed as coming from County of Santa Clara, Office of Levys and Liens, states some outrageous amount of back taxes owed, which the notice says there’s a warrant and CA Tax Lien action pending, signed by Richard Herts from the Office of Lien Filings, County of Santa Clara. Lists 866-485-4265 to call immediately to prevent property seizure and legal action. Called 866# and it was someplace calling themselves SPR Tax Resolutions, a law office. I asked if the person who answered was an attorney and he replied, "No, but I work for one." I asked the attorney’s name that he worked for and he hung up, and apparently blocked my number because I couldn’t get another call through.
