I was searching for a sphynx kitten for my mother. I found the website [email protected] along with several others. I picked a kitten and signed a supposed contract. The asking price was $750 which was including shipping. The shipper was ABX Transit, which I now realize is a fraudulent business. I was contacted by the shipper wanting money for a covid-19 filtered carrier for $1150, the money to be refunded at delivery. I told them I was unable to send that money so they claimed the sphynx breeder would chip in $500, I could barely pay $650, but I did.
The shipper contacted me, again via email, and said the kitten was in Chicago, IL and if I didn’t pay $1800 for a city permit they could not ship the kitten to me. I checked MI laws and found no need for a city permit and replied as such. I also said that I would contact the authorities in all three states if I did not receive the kitten or the return of my money. I was given 3 email addresses for the "breeder" [email protected], [email protected], & [email protected] I will also be contacting google about these emails.
