Type of a scam Phishing
We found a door hanger notification left on our front door to call Speedy Delivery Victoria at 778-922-6155. We phoned many times but the voicemail was always full. When we did get a live person, we were told there would be a customs fee and they wanted to know when we would be at home. We suspect this may be an attempt to canvass neighborhoods for absent home owners, and/or extorting bogus delivery/custom fees.
We learned from ScamPulse.com Serving Vancouver Island, that the scammer(s) behind Speedy Delivery Victoria are spoofing a legitimate, local, non-accredited business: Speedy Delivery Systems.
