Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Originally, I received an inbox from a friend on LInkedIn. The message said she had recommended me for this mystery shopper opportunity. I responded to the place she told me to go and provided my email and address. I then went to thank her. That is when she told me she had been hacked and it was a scam. I then received an email from this place and did not respond. I then received a priority mail envelope with a check for $2,360.30 and a letter of instructions.
