I got a call from a lady (*** ***) in August 2016 saying there was a promotion of a new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for $280. I thought it was a great promotion and so i kept listening. She told me that i had to pay through MONEY ORDER and she gave me the info for the money order. She said that the call was being recorded and i had to confirm the info and my order by saying ‘Yes’ so i did. After that i went to USPS to get the money order of $280 and i sent it. After about 2 or 3 weeks my "phone" arrived. So i open it and it ends up being one of those cheap ones called BLU. So then, I called back to tell them they sent me the wrong phone and this lady said that she was gonna see what happened and to call back. I let a week pass and i called back but the phone would ring and after a while it would hang up by itself. So i keep calling and calling for days and no answer. That’s when i notice it was a scam. So fast forward to almost 2 years, this guy (Antonio Juarez) calls me saying that he is the intermediary of the company that sold me the phone and that i have to go to court because I didn’t return the phone (I’m wondering which phone is he talking about because i paid for the "phone" they sent me). He also said that he had the recording of my voice and i agreed to something. So he said if i don’t win the case i will have to pay $5000. But if i didn’t want to go through that that I could settle this with the company and i would only pay $700 through a MONEY ORDER (this happened February 22, 2018). I obviously haven’t send money but I’m worry he might have a recording of my voice and use it for something else that might affect me.
