The "tech" from soft technologies asked my grandpa to pay $500 for tech support on his iPad. He paid the money and the issue he was having was fixed. A few days later the "tech" called back . He stated that somebody was trying to take out a loan under one of his credit cards in china. After stating that his computer and iPad will crash if I don’t pay them $700. He told them he doesnt want to pay anymore money. They said they would do it for $500 due to his age. He again told them he doesn’t want to pay them he again lowered the price to $400. He again told them he doesnt want to pay. This "tech" told him that he could break the contract he was in with them for a fee of $300 and his computer, both iPads, and his tablet would crash within the hour. He paid the $400. I believe that Soft Technologies hacked my grandpas internet and then made him pay to keep them from ruining his computer’s.

Soft Technology called me saying someone from Russia was trying to steal my identity, and he had me go to my computer so he can show me the different viruses the Russian was using to break my firewall. So I was scared and let him show me on my computer and showed me this picture and there were alarms going off while he said he was trying to steal my identity. So I paid him $400 to get rid of the threat. The money was supposed to take care of a year and he calls back 6months later stating it was happening again and he needed permission to use my computer to rid the threat so I let him but after he was done he asked me for more money or he would undo the work he just did and I told him I paid for a year and he said I didn’t get the best service and asked for $500. Instant scam.
