So I called the "844" number and got a live person with an accent who answered, "Thank you for calling Social Security, how may I help you?". I called the 844 number back and asked to be removed from their list. He then advised me to change my phone number and disconnected again. I confronted him about being a scammer and asked where he was calling from and he responded with gender specific sexual insults and proceeded to vugarly request sexual favors and asked how much I charged for such. I ended the call and looked for the ScamPulse.com website in hopes this can be stopped and volnurable people won’t become victims.

Albert H*** (ID#198253) called first called and said that my SSN and name had been used to purchase items that were found in a car that is associated with murders, drugs and other illegal activities. They said I needed to go to the bank and draw out all my money from my bank. After I did that I needed to tell them it was done and they would give me the number to call to deposit that money into another account that was to be set up for me. Like a fool I followed their directions and flew from my work to the bank. I withdrew the money but the tellers told me to hang up. At this time I had the bank talk to the person on the phone. At that time it dawned on me that this was a pretty shady deal. I put the money back into my account and am in the process of contacting the credit card companies to put a hold on these accounts.
