I was called from the number above with a recording that my ssn was being taken from me because I had illegally used it. When I called back a man who could barely speak english answered the phone and asked for my ssn but wouldn’t state his name or explain why I hadn’t gotten an email or letter in the mail from him. He refused to let me speak to someone else. I started asking him questions he wouldn’t answer and to draw my line, I spoke with some vulgar language and he cussed me back which let me know 100% he was a fake I let him know he was committing a felony and hung up on him. The call last around 10 min

Type of a scam Phishing

A consumer received a call from Ray Miller at (915)208-4439 stating he was calling from Social Security office in TX regarding possible fraudulent use of the consumer’s social security number and that the consumer’s account has been suspended. Consumer was aware that the Social Security Administration never calls a person about their account. Consumer has reported this scam to the official Social Security Administration Fraud Center in Maryland and the BBB.
