Someone called my cell phone number ans left a message. I returned the call and they then informed me of my ss# being used to rent a abandon rental car and being link to bank accounts totalling 230,000.00. They wanted to know if I knew anyone in Texas. I explained not and then the phone call dropped. I called back and a another man answered and aske me to verify my phone Number. I did and then he went on t act nasty when I asked for his supervisor and his name. I told him I was calling the ScamPulse.com to check out his story . The gentlemen name he gave was Anthony Cooper. I told him so if I did a accurant search on my ss# it would see all this he is saying. He got mad and started calling me a criminal and I hung the phone up.

They told me that they were the social security administration in El Paso, Texas and that a house under my name has been raided for drugs. Said that they didn’t know who did it but found my social security card in the house and that bank accounts were open under my name and social. They said they can help remove it from my record. Asked what my bank was and how much was in it (luckily it was in the negatives). They also said someone will be by the next day with a new social security card. This happened today so I’m not sure if they’ll attempt to take money in the future.
