Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was contacted via phone call by skyfin services in terms of a loan. When asked if i wanted the loan i initially said no. Skyfin them started listing off their low interest rates and i agreed to partake in a loan. They followed up by asking me my annual income, credit score. They said i was approved, but would have to pay ***$ up front in order to see if i was qualified to pay off loans. I sent my money via money gram to skyfin services (http://www.skyfinservices.com/index.php). The way they said it would work was for me to send money to skyfin and dolphin solutions, they would then talk to the "investor" Lloyds Financial Group (http://www.lloydsfinancials.com/index.php) and then they would send me the loan. After i sent the ***$ i was then instructed to send another ***$ to Skyfin who would send it to Dolphin Solution in order for attorney fees and for them to draw up the contracts. They asked for bank account information and routing number, because they said the $*** would be reimbursed.
After i sent the ***$ i was then contacted by Skyfin again to send the first 6 months totaling $*** in order to prove my credit. Skyfin said that they have given out loans x amount of loans in the past that have been defaulted on and lost a ton of money thus why they ask for the money up front. I then called Lloyd Financial group whom was suppose to be my "investor/ financier" and spoke to Michael Daniels(Lloyd): phone number 213-454-0722 i told him i would like to back out because, why i would have to send more money? When i said the word scam he immediately reassured me that they weren’t scammers. When asked for refund Daniels said " your money is with skyfin not us" and that i would have to call skyfin. Roger Smith: phone number 1 800 666 4551 from skyfin called me and said that "he worked very hard setting up my loan, that he wouldn’t receive money since i backed out." I could tell he was very agitated. Skyfin said they would refund my money. Skyfin then transferred my back to Michael Daniels. Daniels (Lloyd Financial) said that he would have to "talk to the higher up" to see if i can get the down payment to be 3 months instead of 6 months. I am waiting on his call. Though i expect him to say yes i can pay the 3 months instead of the 6 months.
