Hard Lesson: Do not do free trials online which use credit cards as payment! They apparently are 99.9% frauds!
On October 9, 2017 I ordered a 14-day free trial of ClarityX and FocusX . I paid the low shipping cost with my ***Â card. The product arrived at my home today on October 23, 2017 at about 11:00 a.m. By phone, I cancelled the order at about 12:45 p.m. and after much debate the fellow said he would refund the $117.77 CAD charged yesterday October 22, 2017 to my *** card! I called ***Â and had my card number changed so they could not charge me for the FocusX which apparently was scheduled for tomorrow. Notice please that no time was provided to actually try the product at all before the first charge was made! It remains to be seen if the $117.77 will be credited back to my ***Â account! If not done so in two days, I will submit a Dispute to ***Â and try to get the money back.

Was on line and asked to do a short survey for Shaw Cable on their service and in return I would receive a Free Gift. After completing the survey it show three different products I could choose from as my "Free Gift". I chose the Silqueskin ageless facial cream. At that point a message appear saying I would need to pay a small shipping fee of $4.99 (I should have stopped right then, but unfortunately didn’t); I thought; well that’s not much and went ahead and gave my credit card information, shipping and email address; and phone number (huge mistake). They also asked if I would like to try their Eye Serum. I Said "No" but got it anyway and was charged double for shipping fees; which turned into $14.40 because of exchange rate; as it was shipped from the US. There was No indication of "Terms" or "Small Print" on the page I chose my gift from. I received a confirmation email for my acknowledging my order but no way of responding.
Within days the $14.40 had been billed to my Visa; 14 days later I received a small box with the Silqueskin Face & Eye Serum. There was No bill, PO# or return address included with my Free Gift (see attached photos). On the same day I received my so called Free Gift, I was also charged $125.69 to my Visa from a company listed as GBPay*easy-pa and the next day, my Visa was again charged $118.58 from GBPay*ebill.c.
I contacted my Visa to report the fraud and had my Visa card cancelled and the payments stopped. Visa disputed the charges and have not heard back from this company.

Saw an ad on Instagram. Claimed to be on Dr. Oz show & used by various celebs. Free trial, only pay shipping. I figured why not try it. There was no indication I was signing up for any auto-ship, nor that I would pay anything additional. 14 days later my card was charged $84.95 & $86.95 for they eye serum & facial cream. I contacted Capital One and am working with them to cancel the recurring costs. They are very familiar with SilqueSkin and their misleading tactics. The product came in a box with no contact information or phone number, nor any notice that I would be receiving an auto-ship each month. Furthermore since I was redirected through Instagram it doesn’t appear in my browsing history either. I had to search online to find their info. Had I not contacted Capital One they would have continued to bill me $172 each month. Somebody needs to shut this company down. Unscrupulous and fraudulent; the ultimate bait & switch.
