The website www.showmalts.com is a total scam. Website advertises Maltese puppies shipped directly to your door 100% guarantee. Website is professional and all paper work (adoption agreements, health forms, travel tracking, etc appear as official). Website states $500 for a puppy, free delivery, and an additional $50 for special handling service. Seller takes your money, gives you paper work and hits with you a travel insurance bill in order to get your pet. I was hit with $860 of travel insurance (which I refused to pay). Website used for the relocation service has been shut down, but buyers don’t know about this until after they have already paid for the puppy. Seller also operates under name www.BrilliantMalts.com.
The website and business should be shutdown. The purpose of business is to extort money without delivery of product. Address advertised on the website is actually the Western Union address where seller asks for money to be transferred.
