A Sheriff Miller from the Guilford County Sheriff Department called me on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 336-708-3189 and told me that I had 2 warrants for my arrest. He said that I didn’t appear for jury duty on Monday and that Mr. Albright had issued the warrants for my arrest in the civil matter. The sheriff stated that the conversation was being recorded. He stated that the 2 bench warrants were $750 a piece and since I had no criminal record they were going to allow me to pay the warrants and save me the embarrassment of being handcuffed and locked up. The sheriff said that once I pay the money, I would have a court date on Wednesday, July 27 at 9:00 a.m. on the 2nd floor in courtroom B of the Guilford County Courthouse. He stated that the judge would reimbursement me for the $1500 that I pay for the Failure to Appear for jury duty bench warrants. He said that I would have to make payment at a kiosk and that they didn’t accept check or credit card.
