Selling a car on Craigslist. Contact by potential buyer, Seth Nash, who requested that I get a vehicle history report from a website other than Carfax, because it’s cheaper. The link looked very suspicious. I did not purchase the report. After doing a bit of searching, I learned that this is a common scam, to steal credit card info, by sending car sellers to a fake website to purchase a vehicle report.
