Once I made payment he then wanted more money for a special crate to ship the puppies. I didn’t have the money. So I did some research and saw all the scams. I started to request pictures of the puppies and this specific crate. First he said the crate was for temp control but its 80 in Dallas then switched to covid 19 He gave me all these excuses of why he couldn’t give me pictures of the puppies or crate. He just call and I said I would not send anymore money it was his choice to send me the puppies or them. Wish i had researched sooner. There were 3 similar ads on Craig’s list.

Saw the ad for two schnauzers puppies. Got a lot of really good emails telling me this sap story about needing to give up their dogs because they relocated. Asked question. Said they could send the dog to my door all I had to pay for was the ticket. So I agreed and paid 300$ then I get an email hours later stating the puppy needed a different type of crate to travel. Which would cost me only 450$-900$ which of course would be refunded at the door. I got suspicious when both parties kept pushing for more money. I blocked them both and now feel stupid for not seeing what I see now. The excitement of getting a “free pup” was a lot. So lesson learned no more dogs.
We must have been purchasing the same pup. Sorry for your loss
