Type of a scam Utility
A gentleman, with a foreign accent, called to let me know that he was with the Nashville Electric Service and that they were going to cut off my service within the next 45 minutes to an hour. He spoke very quickly and was annoyed when I asked him to repeat what he had said. I questioned him as to who he was with and what exactly was wrong. He said that he was with Nashville Electric Service, I had not paid October and November’s bill, and they were going to cut off my service. I told him that I was going to report him for a scam and he told me to "shut the … up b…." and hung up on me. Wow!
