they call everyday its always same recording “hello i am____ calling from save today. I sorry I didn’t hear that” but in background i hear phone buttons being punched i hang up and block number always call again from slightly different number

They called several times. They said their company was called savetoday company. They said I purchased an item recently with one of their partner stores or businesses. I was hoping it was a prize because of a survey I filled out but every time I asked if they are ScamPulse.com accredited they put me on hold over and over. I didn’t give any information other than my name because they wouldn’t tell me if they are ScamPulse.com accredited. So, they might have tried to take money from me if I’d stayed on the phone long enough.
I’ve gotten a call from a 708 area code which is a Illinois area. The person claims that they are calling from New York and the company is also based out of New York and reason why they are calling was regarding Medicare and wanting to verify information. Medicare does not call from a different state your in and use a different number. One person told me they did a health reward program When I started asking questions they refuse to answer them. I called back several times and i either get different answers about the company like the physical address of the company that is based out of New York -they refused to give it to me telling me that they were not allowed to give out that information- for one reason or another when i asked for a supervisor I got several different answers like they are busy , they are working from home (which clearly you can hear other people talking in the back ground ) so they can’t put me through to a supervisor , they can’t transfer me to a supervisor because they would get penalized or get told that they refuse to give me the address or put me through to a supervisor one excuse after another. Or i get hung up on.
I own an Insurnce agency in Virginia & we specialize in Senior products to include Medicare, Medicare Advantage (Part C) & Prescription Drug Plans. First & foremost when you receive a call & the telemarketer comes so close that he/she integrates their introduction with Medicare, please hang up. Medicare does not make outbound phone calls in any state. Secondly, agents must go through annual certifications & modules such as ethics & Fair-Marketing Practices are discussed. One can not contact someone who is registered with the DNC (Do Not Call Registry). One may not cotact someone by phone or email unless a Permission To Contact formed has been signed by the prospect & this form allows the prospect to check a specific box that dictates how long this expressed permission to contact will last.
It is considered to be unwanted solicitation to called upon or door knocked upon for the purpose of solicitation & any agent that practices these methods knows that! The penalties oce investigated include: re-training, lost of commissions, termination of contract with the insurance carrier, fines & loss of license to be able to solicit insurance products in that state or states that the producer holds a license in.
