Type of a scam Online Purchase
On April 22, 2020 I placed an order with Sarah Virginia Home for a light fixture in the amount of $428. On May 4th Virginia Harper sent me an email saying the following:
"Hi Christina,
I hope you received the voicemail I just left regarding your recent order. Unfortunately, we had a problem with our payment processing company, so we issued you a refund.
Would you mind resubmitting payment for the fixture? We will ship it to you as soon as possible. Processing times are a little slower than usual right now but you should receive your light within 1-2 weeks from the time we receive payment for this invoice.
Sorry to be a pain, we really appreciate your business!

I paid this immediately, received an order confirmation with order number 1591 on May 5th. Since then all attempts at follow up have been ignored. No email responses, no returned phone calls. After 6 attempts, I reached out to her via her Instagram page (@sarahvirginiahome) to request that she provide an update. She has not. Since publicly asking for a response SEVERAL other "customers" reached out to me to say they had the same experience.
This person is a fraud and a criminal and has a history of accepting payment with no intention of sending goods purchased.
I have names and contact information of these other individuals who have been scammed in a similar manner.
