Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

A Company called Shaw and Sanford called me and told me I was approved for an 8,000 loan. I was so happy to hear this. After telling them I was interested, they proceeded to tell me I would need to pay a fee because my credit was so bad. They said they needed some collateral, so that they knew I would pay the loan. At first, it did not sound bound. However, I then signed the documents and was told that in order to receive my loan, I would need to go to a Western Union location and wire the money to an individual in Canada. Then my red flags went up! I got all the info from her and she asked me how soon I could go an do this and I told her not until tomorrow. She seemed annoyed. After reading the alert on the on the BBB, I have decided not to go through with this and to let others know that these scammers are out there. The loan officer I spoke to said her name was Amy Peterson.
