Type of a scam Government Grant
He said he was calling from the Government Grant Department and that I was chosen to receive a $9,000 grant. I didn’t have to pay it back or pay taxes on this money. He then asked me three different times during our conversation how I wanted to receive the money, cash in hand or direct deposit. I kept telling him cash in hand. He then wanted to know where the closest Western Union or Walmart was located nearby me in order to get my money. He just kept going around back to how I wanted to receive my money. He finally gave me mid account manager’s phone number (646-820-8657) to call if I had any questions. I called both numbers back and neither of them were in service.
I hope this will be shared. All they want is my bank account number. His name was Sam Smith
