Consumer stated she went on a website and was trying to get a business license in the state of GA for her to start up a small business. She stated that she had to pay $440.00 to get the license she gave her credit card information. When she tried to use the user name and password it stated that it was invalid. She then call the Dept of Revenue and they told her you do not do anything online that you would come in and get a business license after she called them she new she was scammed.

Went online to get a tax ID number for my small business and found this website. Applied for a Colorado Tax ID number, but did not receive one and got nothing from the company. No way to contact the company. Unfortunately, I gave them my SSN and am concerned about Identity theft. Additionally, the company charged me $150 for something that should have been free… that part is my fault, but I did not get the service they charged me for. I contacted my bank to refute the charge and cancelled my debit card.
