Said I applied for a job on their job site

I answered the phone and a woman said she sees that I recently applied for a job on their job site ( which I have recently just applied for jobs) and then asked if I could hear her ok. Not thinking I said yeah and then the call immediately hung up on me. I called the number back and it starts out the same. I’m so mad at myself for saying yeah but I recently have applied for jobs so I thought it was someone calling me. I should have known better!
