Rx Direct

Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

Rx Direct sent a request to my mother’s primary care physician requesting the doctor sign for her to be given methocarbamol, which is a generic drug for Robaxin, an intense muscle relaxer. Maybe they called my mother, I am not sure. As of right now, I do not think they have her insurance information, I can’t be sure. This is a horrendous practice against our senior citizens.

Received fax from RX direct for refills on multiple medications for a patient.

Reviewed patient’s medical chart, not taking any of the requested medications.

Called patient, they stated they never requested medications from the company of RX direct.

Fax only has name, phone number and fax number. No address or email provided.

Fax did have patient’s date of birth, address and phone number also had the Providers full name, address, NPI number and phone number.

Tried calling RX Direct at the number provided, only ever received there voicemail, never a real person.
